Have a glimpse into the world of an organic chicken farmer. Geri and Kerry both moved from the metro area to the Shenandoah Valley. Without allowing such a drastic change to slow them down, they began growing chickens.
Originally with conventional farming, Geri and Kerry quickly realized that the conventional poultry industry was not for them. As Corwin, SVO’s President and CEO, was beginning Shenandoah Valley Organic, they jumped right in.
Growing just antibiotic-free chicken at the time of filming, they recently updated to growing organic chicken, which fits their lifestyle like a glove. We’re happy to have them on our team!
