If you thought the first one went well, you can imagine how the second dinner went! Last Thursday was an incredible meeting of minds in Bella Luna’s new banquet space, Bella Banquets.
Featuring Pale Fire Brewery and produce Season’s Bounty Farm, Chef Colin highlighted the bounty of what the Shenandoah Valley has to offer.

We began with a pickled ramp deviled egg boldly paired with Pale Fire’s newest Arrant IPA. Followed by the a rich tart full of chicken and squash topped with pickled veggies that add a bright crunch to the dish. This was served with the award-winning American Saison, Salad Days. For the main course, we enjoyed a sausage and provolone stuff chicken breast and a chilling eggplant caponata and salsa verde. Accompanied by a full pint of Deadly Rhythm, everyone was having a great time by now. Lastly, a beeramisu, a classic with a twist baked by Bella Gelato, was paired with the sweet, but savory Irish Red, Red Molly.
Many thanks to everyone that attended, both the first and second dinners! We will be ramping back up for a third one in September, so stay tuned!
